Hey SWC friends! I'm back from Ecuador! It was a fabulous trip and I am ultra relaxed. Almost nothing has bothered me at work, (so far) this week. I'm that chill (and a little scattered). I need to take vacation more often...isn't that the truth with this profession? I feel like I can see all my cases so much clearer. This vacation has been a blessing in so many ways.
I will probably post some pics along with some Ecua-fashion commentary....stay tuned-it will be worth it. In the mean time...I picked up this awesome, handmade, tie-dyed skirt for $7 at a little outdoor market in Quito. It is so fun and different from anything I have in my closet. So here is my question: What colors can I wear with this skirt? How else can I wear it? I''m feeling lost with this one...any advice would be wonderful!
Sorry I couldn't help myself! I just missed this little face :)

Claire,
In the pix, the skirt reads navy. If it is (not black) I would try a red top. As Tina has blogged, red is in plus I love red with navy and camel. The weight of the colors should feel balanced. I would keep it simple though so the focus is the skirt. Good find!
Martha
love your blog! I'm also thinking of becoming a social worker as well :-)
Thanks, Martha! Love the red idea...I'm excited to try it out :).
@g's mom: thank you! Much luck on your social work journey. It's not always the easiest job, but it is the most rewarding! Please keep reading and commenting :)
Welcome baaaack!! So glad you are home!! I think I'd try a deep olive/army green in the same tone, and pair with a brown belt! Love it with white however!! <3
